We know that the last few months of lockdown have been tough for many of us. And with restrictions now finally easing, here at The Light, we want to celebrate any local lockdown heroes, who have managed to spread some positivity during the recent months.

From NHS staff, charity volunteers, shop workers, and care home staff, to inspiring kids or perhaps your very own super hero mum, we’re looking for 14 fantastic and deserving people who you think deserve to be celebrated as one of The Light’s Lockdown Heroes!

To thank them for all that they’ve done, we want to treat them to a meal at one of the wonderful restaurants at The Light with their family or support bubble. Plus, the winners will also receive flowers and chocolates delivered to their door as an extra ‘thank you’, to put a well-deserved smile on their face.

To nominate your Lockdown Hero, simply head over to The Light’s Facebook page to enter our competition. All you’ll need to do is tell us the name of your nominee, along with a photo of them and why they deserve a special treat.
