We’re delighted to have gifted local school pupil, Sophie Ye, from Blenheim School, with Halfords vouchers so she can choose herself a fabulous new bike, as part of an art competition launched with our friends, The Real Junk Food Project, to celebrate the Tour De Yorkshire at the beginning of May!

Sophie Ye was one of 249 children to take part in the art competition; where children were tasked with illustrating something amazing or special about their school. All of the drawings are on display at The Light to commemorate the event and for all participating children and visitors to come and view.

After finding it very tough to choose our winning entry from all of the amazing drawings, we felt it was only fair to randomly select our winner. We hope Sophie enjoys her prize – you never know, we could have the next big cycling champion on our hands!
